Great!, I love our new island! We don't use the flip-up portion for seating and/or eating, but extra prep space, which works perfectly for our needs. I left the knife block and paper towel holder off which gives is a much more streamlined appearance and helps it fit into our 'space-challenged' kitchen very well! I only wish it had locks on all four wheels, but that is being really picky.

Great find for my space!, I have a small-ish home, with a combined kitchen/eating area that has too few cupboards and too little counter space. I compensated for storage with a two-door upright fiberboard cabinet, and used the tabletop for work space. Recently I priced a kitchen renovation to add a built-in island/breakfast bar but thought to try a portable before commiting to the cost. I found this unit on sale (saved $150), and like it enough that I'm putting the built-in on hold! Some friends visiting my home assembled the unit before I arrived from work. The knife rack was broken in shipping but I did not pursue that with the manufacturer because I planned to not install either the knife rack or the towel holder. While I can't speak to ease of assembly (understand it was a bit challenging) or to the manufacturer's ability to address damage, I really like the cart. It's stable and stays put when desired, is easy to move when you choose to, adds the storage space I need, and all pieces fit together for a nice finished look.

Rolling Kitchen Cart, I have to say after extensive online searching and reading the various reviews of different kitchen carts, styles, sizes, etc. I finally chose this one because it had so many positive reviews and it was a good choice.
Great for the Price, We have had this kitchen cart for almost three years now and love it.
For the price, it is a large cart. We use it as a permanent kitchen island. It has a large surface, especially with the rear leaf up. It provides us with additional cupboards and drawers, which our kitchen lacks sufficiently. It arrived quickly and had good assembly instructions. We like the natural finish, and it wipes clean easily. The drawers are a little small, but we were able to find one silverware tray at Target that would fit in it. You need a tray that is wider than it is tall, or you can get the individual trays that lock together and build your own.
I only have a few complaints:
The cart was damaged when it arrived. The two side panels were damaged in shipment.

nice breakfast bar, good item that will be very useful at our house. the only issue we had with putting it together was that the drawers did not close properly once assembled. i had to unscrew and move the tracks in order to get the drawers to shut like they are suppose to.
missing and incorrect parts, When I first opened the box I was impressed with quality of the materials used in the cart, however it didn't take long to find the first missing part. This part was one of the interior panels so it wasn't something I could go to my local big box store to replace. Like most people I was assembling the cart on the weekend and of course customer service is only open during standard working hours during the week. I emailed them and got the replacement part a little over a week later.
Happily I started assembly again and then found that one of the pieces that hold the back onto the cart was incorrectly made. Instead of being routed for the back panel it was cut off and the other side was incorrectly routed so that the back panel would not fit into it. I could have added some L-brackets and worked around the non-routed side, but I can't correct the side that was routed incorrectly.
To say I am unhappy would be an understatement. This huge box has been sitting in my kitchen for two weeks now and I cannot complete the assembly. It will be at least another week before the next part shows up and then I can only hope that all of the rest of the pieces are correct. I am already concerned about the way the holes were drilled in one side to hold the shelves up. Hopefully I can correct any additional problems that come up. There are so many piece in the box that it would be a real chore to examine all of them to make sure they are correct prior to assembly.
I will not be purchasing any more products from this vendor. If I could find another cart that gives me the same functionality of this one, for the same price, I would be returning this product.
Perfect workspace, I received this island for Christmas. It was a bit of a chore for my husband to put together, but all in all, it wasn't too time consuming. It is very functional - has plenty of storage space, the wood top is very nice and durable. I use this to knead and roll bread dough, as well as some much needed cabinet space. The benefit of being able to move the island around the kitchen as needed is a big plus.
